Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada of the United States. At a surface elevation of 6,225 ft it is located along the border between California and Nevada, west of Carson City. We visited Lake Tahoe on the Labor day long weekend and this post it all about it!

Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America. Its depth is 1,645 ft, making it the second deepest in the United States after Crater Lake (1,945 ft)

Our agenda for the trip was to relax and chill. For which a cabin in the woods is a must 🙂

The neighborhood was as full of wooden cabins. We stayed in South Lake Tahoe

And loads of pine trees

One of the most unique snacks which I ate so far..Farsan Sandwich :P. Weird but absolutely tasty 🙂

After having good breakfast we headed to do some activities at Lake Tahoe

If you love water sports then this is the best place for you. You can do kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, paddle boarding, etc

We rented a speedboat and drove it for a spectacular tour of the lake

After reaching home we had some great bbq with paneer, chicken, burgers, etc

That night I didn’t forget to capture the Tahoe Milky way 🙂

On our way back from the trip we crossed the El Dorado National Forest and it is absolutely A MUST VISIT and breathtaking
