Rice Thalipeeth is an easy breakfast item made with onions, chillies and rice flour. It’s a quick recipe which is crunchy and tasty

Ingredients: 
1 cup rice flour
1 small onion chopped fine
4 green chillies chopped
1 tbsp cumin powder
½ cup shredded carrots
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp chopped garlic
Salt as per taste
Oil for shallow frying
Method:
Mix all the ingredients except oil with warm water. Add some green chilly garlic paste if handy.

Knead into a dough.

On a rolling board, spread a piece of cotton cloth.
Place a golf-ball sized ball of dough on the cloth.
Use the tips of your hands to pat the dough into a flat shape.



Make a few small holes in the pancake.

Heat the pan. Sprinkle some oil.

Gently turn the cloth upside down and ease off the thalipeeth onto the pan.

Use a small spoon to place tiny drops of oil into the holes in the thalipeeth. Cover it with a plate and let it cook.

Cook till browned and crispy on both sides.

Serve it hot with yoghurt or any chutney of your choice.
