Butterscotch Icecream Recipe

Super crunchy and delicious butterscotch icecream made with whipping cream, malai, condensed milk and almond/cashew praline is a scrumptious dessert.

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup malai (optional. If malai is not available then use additional 1/2 cup whipping cream)

1/2 cup condensed milk

butterscotch essence

sugar 1/2 cup

almond and cashews chopped 1/2 cup

1 tbsp butter

Method

In a pan heat sugar by stirring continuously.

After it is melted add 1 tbsp butter and mix well.

Once it turns light brown in color add the chopped nuts. Mix well

On a plate grease some butter and spread the praline. Let it set for 20 mins.

After 20 minutes remove the praline and transfer to a ziplock. With a rolling pin crush the praline in small pieces

In a bowl add cream, malai, condensed milk and butterscotch essence. Beat for 6-7 minutes.

Now add the crushed praline and mix well. Freeze for 5-6 hours. Serve chilled
