The first CLICK

Clicking snaps with a cellphone, then with a non digital kodak camera ,later with a point and shoot camera and finally with a cannon SLR.“A picture is worth a thousand words” is not very far off from the way that cameras have helped to revolutionize the way we see our world and our surroundings. The transition from clicking snaps to capturing moments was only possible due to the SLR.The concept of a simple snap telling a story came into existence.Though taking pictures with a SLR was not an easy task until you go for AUTO  mode rather than MANUAL mode.Auto Mode was a shortcut to clicking a picture minus your creativity.Manual mode paves you the way to test your knowledge and creativity.Initially I though that I wouldn’t ever be able to take the pain to click pictures in a manual mode but then once i just had a glance at the SLR manual and to my surprise I found it very much interesting and challenging. Then i realised that clicking in Manual mode is not some rocket science but your perseverance and willingness to learn the minute details in order to play with the various modes and settings to get a self speaking picture.

I read the manual for two days and my first model was Khushi 🙂 and I bet nothing would have matched the innocence which is captured in her pics!!!
