Rotimatic Puri and Chole Recipe, How to make puri with Rotimatic
After trying the Whole Wheat Pizza in Rotimatic, now it was time to make some Rotimatic Puri. They turned out to be fluffy, soft and quick to make. Tastes great with any vegetable curry.
I have been in love with this robot. It has been a savior especially on the days when you are dead tired or not in a mood to cook anything. I made Chole Puri on the weekend and used two of my favorite kitchen accessories..Rotimatic and Instant Pot.
Puris were made in Rotimatic and Chole were made in Instant Pot 🙂
I love traditional recipes and even conventional method of cooking. But in today’s hectic life when you are managing home, work and kids, I think machines like Rotimatic, Instant Pot or Kitchen Aid make you life so much easier. BTW my everyday chapatis are also made in Rotimatic 🙂 My mom is very particular about chapatis but even she loves them.
Here is my Rotimatic Puri Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Cups of Flour
- 1/3 cups of Semolina flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Pinch of sugar for the golden brown colour
Method
Mix all the above mentioned ingredients in the flour container.
Power on the machine and select Puri Option. I kept the thickness 1 and oil level 1
Enter the number of puris you want to make and select play. Flattened dough puris will start coming out of the Rotimatic
Make sure you do not fry the puris immediately. Let them sit in the casserole for 2 hrs. This tip will make them less oily.
Fry the puris and enjoy them fresh with the Chole 🙂

Thanks
Ulka
Hi Ulka,
I love rotimatic for making my daily rotis. I know it is bit expensive but totally worth spending the dollars. The rotis wont be as homemade phulkas but definitely better than eating outside. You just need to make one vegetable and you are set.
Thanks.
Anita
