Kandi Pedha Recipe
Kandhi Pedha is made instantly with milk powder, evaporated milk and sugar. Today on the auspicious occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi, I made this as a Prasad 🙂 It was a quick recipe and was made within an hour.

Recipe
Ingredients
Milk powder 2 cups
Evaporated milk 1 can
Ghee 2 tblsp + 2 tsp
Sugar 1 cup
Method
Add the above ingredients in a bowl, mix well.
Transfer to a pan and cook for 30 mins. Keep on stirring continuously.
After 15 mins the mixture will start thickening. Cook till it becomes 2/3 of its quantity.
Remove it from gas and let it cool a bit.
Make round shaped Pedhas 🙂
Can we use dry milk powder from american store ?
I wont suggest that Vandana..Get Milk Powder from Indian store

You can use condensed milk but then do not add sugar.
Do I purchase sweetened evaporated milk or unsweetened evaporated milk ?I live in Europe and there are two versions available in the supermarket. Kindly suggest.
Hi you can use either of them. But if the milk is sweetened then dont add sugar.
