  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 50g butter
  • 50 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g almond flour
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 g thick curd
  • 80 g sugar
  • 100 g chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C for 15 minutes.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together (double boiler or microwave).
  3. Whisk curd and sugar until sugar dissolves.
  4. Mix the curd-sugar mixture into the melted chocolate-butter mixture.
  5. Dry Mix Sieve flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder & salt.
  6. Add dry mix to wet ingredients. Combine gently — don’t overmix!
  7. Stir in chopped walnuts. Pour into a lined baking tray.
  8. Bake 160°C for 25 minutes.
  9. Let cool completely at room temperature.
  10. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before slicing for clean, fudgy squares.
