I made this recipe in an unique way by first pressure cooking the marinated chicken and then roasted in on gas.
1 kg chicken leg pieces
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup oil
2 tbsp giner garlic paste
2 tbsp chicken tandoori masala
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp kasoori methi
2 tbsp cumin coriander powder
salt as per taste
2 tbsp butter for roasting
Apply all above mentioned ingredients except butter to the chicken
Marinate chicken and refrigerate it for 3-4 hours
In a pressure cooker, add water, keep an empty vessel and on top of it keep the container with marinated chicken. Close it with a plate. Let it cook for 2 whistles.
Keep roti stand on the gas and roast the cooked chicken by applying butter one by one. It gets roasted pretty fast.
You can also grill it in the oven.
Serve it with green chutney
