Malai Pedha Recipe
Malai Pedha made from ricotta cheese and condensed milk is the easiest and delicious sweet which can be made instantly.
This year I ran San Francisco Marathon for Team Asha’s noble cause of raising money to educate underprivileged kids in India.
It was a unique and once in a lifetime experience. I made these pedas to celebrate the success of all the Team Asha runners at SF Marathon 2014

Ingredients
2 cups nonfat ricotta cheese
1 cup condensed milk
2 tbsp kesar diluted in milk
Method
In a deep pan add ricotta cheese and let it cook for 20 mins. Keep on stirring in between.
Now add condensed milk and kesar. Stir for almost 40 mins. This is the only difficult task.
In a while you will see that the mixture is thickening up.
Remove it from heat and let it cool.
Put it in an air tight container and refrigerate it for 30 mins.
After 30 mins you can start making pedhas out of it.
