Garlic Chutney Recipe & Indian Simmer

This is a simple garlic chutney or lasun chutney made with only 3 ingredients. It’s the best chutney with Bhakri or Vada Pav. You can even marinate fish in this chutney and shallow fry it. You can make a crispy chutney dosa with it. Refrigerate it and used for months to add the extra zing to various dishes.

Generally I make it in the mixer but this time I was able to make it the authentic mortar and pestle gifted by Prerna Singh of Indian Simmer.

Ingredients

15 garlic pods

1/2 cup red chilli powder

1/2 tbsp salt

Method

Add all the ingredients in the mortar and pestle and grind into a chutney
