Naan with Chicken Kheema Curry Recipe
Naan is an Indian flatbread made from all purpose flour and cooked on open flame for a smoky flavor. Generally naan is cooked in a tandoor and with yeast but I have made this at home on a tawa/griddle and without yeast too. Naan turned out really soft with nice charcoal flavor. This is a very simple naan recipe with ingredients available at home
The additions of garlic, cheese and coriander leaves made it more tasty and flavorful. Naan is served with all kinds of curries and is a famous side order in all Indian restaurants.
I have also added the video of the recipe to show you the technique of making it

Grease the boil with oil. Spread some oil on top of the dough and prove the dough for an hour.
After an hour make around 6 round shaped balls from the dough and prove them for 30 minutes.
Keep the tawa for heating. Start rolling the ball by adding maida. Roll it a bit thicker than the chapati. Sprinkle some coriander leaves, chopped garlic and cheese. Roll the Naan again.
Flip the naan on your hand. On the back of the naan add good amount of water all over.
Place the naan on hot tawa. Let it cook until bubble starts appearing on it.
Now with firm hands flip the tawa and let the naan cook on direct heat. Keep moving it on the flame so it gets cooked everywhere. It will take around 2 minutes.
Remove the naan from the tawa apply good amount of butter and serve it hot with your choice of curry.
