The Ritz Carlton Brunch: Birthday Celebration 2016
Regularly hailed by guests as the best brunch in the Bay Area, Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay’s Navio Restaurant’s Sunday brunch offers an impressive selection of culinary delights, where there is something for every taste. Featuring a variety of cheese and charcuterie, salads, chilled soups, sushi, dim sum, caviar, breakfast favorites, carving stations, raw oyster bar and additional specialty dishes. Overlooking the rugged bluffs and crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean.
Hubby surprised me with this brunch as a birthday gift this year 🙂 I have been wanting to visit this place for last 5 years and finally got a chance this year. Make sure you make reservations in advance as we tried couple of times before and were not fortunate enough to get it.
For this special occasion, I wore the Allbebe Allbebe Cotton Embroidery Two piece Linen Folk Style Long Dress which I ordered from below link:

Ambience & Decor
Located in the gorgeous Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, Navio is a ballroom sized restaurant overlooking the stunning hill and ocean the hotel is perched on. Seriously the views are to die for!
This place has breathtaking views of the Pacific from your table. Very comfortable seating and very spacious.
Service was super on point. From pulling up to the front of the hotel where they open each of our car door and open the door to the hotel, to the hostess seating us to a very attentive waitress.
Brunch is $109 per guest $54.50 per child ages five to 12 and children under four complimentary. The price may seem high but it is totally worth it.
You got the clams, the oysters, the mussel, smoked salmon, 6 different caviars, etc
You got the braised pork cheeks, the beef rib eye, the lamb chop, the salmon, chilled crab claws/shrimp, FOIE GRAS with passion fruit, etc.
You got the california rolls, the sashimi (totally missed out on.. boo.), the pork buns, the dumplings, the chashiu
BREAD, CHEESE, MEATS Section
You got 7-8 different types of bread, about 6 types of different cheeses from france, italy, etc, and a diverse amount of meat like pork, rabbit, veal, duck prosciutto, sausage garlic, etc.
Eggs benedict, applewood bacon, scrambled eggs, mixed veggies, etc.
Trust me I have never tasted such amazing, healthy and tasty salads ever
You got 4 different types of cakes (tropical carrot cake, chocolate mousse, gianduja raspberry, caramel apple mousse, which the chef told me took 3-4 days to make each one due to designing and whatnot), crepe Station, gelato (green tea, raspberry, and pistachio), cookies, caramel flan, rice pudding, bread pudding, coffee eclairs, chocolate pieces (salted caramel, lemon, white chocolate, dark chocolate, etc), cream puff, vanilla pound cake with pistachio, passion fruit mousse, creme brulee
As it was my birthday, they also surprised me with a cute little gift
Another best part of this brunch was the outdoor seating area of Ritz Carlton. Cool breeze of Pacific ocean accompanied with some amazing cocktails is the highlight of this section of the hotel.
