Rava Besan Ladoo Recipe
Rava Besan ladoo is an indian sweet made during Diwali. Rava and besan together adds crunchiness and softness to the delicacy
1-1/2 cups Besan
4 tbsp Sooji / coarse Semolina for giving texture – not flour.
1/2 cup Ghee (clarified butter)
3/4th cup sugar
1 tsp Cardamom powder
4-5 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp pistachios
Dry roast the besan and semolina separately.
In a pan, mix the semolina and besan together. Heat it for 2 mins.
Add the ghee and roast it till you can smell the fragrant flavor.
Add sugar, cardamom powder and nuts. Mix well. You will see the mixture binding together.
Put off the gas and make ladoos
If made to proper consistency, these can be stored in Air tight containers for almost 10-15 days.
