Phodnicha Bhat is popular Maharastrian breakfast recipe made from leftover rice.
Steamed white rice (leftover)2 cup
Oil 1 tablespoon
Asafetida a pinch
Cumin seeds and mustard seeds 2 tsp
Garlic,crushed 4-5 cloves
Onion ,chopped 1 large
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Heat oil in a kadai, asafetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, add garlic and onions and sauté till onion becomes soft and pink.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and leftover rice.
Cook for about three to four minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly
