Lolo San Francisco Restaurant Review- Birthday Celebrations 2016
Lolo restaurant in San Francisco spotlights Chef Jorge Martínez’s traditional Mexican flavors re-imagined using locally sourced and market fresh ingredients. I love Mexican food especially the small plates and thus we chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration with friends in San Francisco.
Along with Gerardo Cendejas–chef, architect, and jack of all trades–Jorge and Lorena(Jorge’s wife) bring together over 10 years of restaurant and design experience. They envisioned a space in the Mission’s already incredibly vibrant neighborhood, where they could combine rich traditions of Mexican heritage with modern aesthetics and the essence of Bay Area food culture through the use of fresh, local Californian ingredients. Lorena took inspiration from growing up on rancherías, and the colorful, vivid streets and markets of Mexico.
Loló brings the essence of those same streets and markets to the streets of the Mission, through an environment that welcomes guests to share in reimagined Mexican food and culture while creating new experiences in the Mission.
They have an Agave Bar which serves the best cocktails with a tinge of famous Mexican Tequilas!
Bar managers David Gallardo & Leon Vasquez craft unique & seasonal cocktails highlighting the agave distillate Mezcal.
At Loló, they are proud to present one of the finest mezcal and agave-based selections in San Francisco.
Their love and knowledge of the different agave distilled spirits gives you an authentic experience of Mexico’s most exciting and fascinating beverage.
From Margarita, Sangria to Mexican Mule everything is just perfect
If you love small plates you will go crazy here..everything is freshly made from local foods, flavorful and beautiful presentation.
Lolo is an unique experience with great food, drinks but make sure that you do reservations in advance as it was totally packed even on a weekday.
Birthday is incomplete without loved ones and cakes so here are some pics from the celebration
Friends got this amazing chocolate mousse cake from Schuberts Bakery in SF. It’s my favorite
