Kurkure Recipe

Kurkure is the perfect savory snack made from urad dal and rice flour. This was the simplest recipe which I made for Diwali. It was ready in 30 mins. It is amazingly tasty and crunchy for the efforts you put in to make it. Now it is going to be a regular in my snack box:) IMG 0721 950x633 Kurkure Recipe

1 cup of rice flour3 tsp of urad dal flour3 tbsp butter2 tsp of  asafetida1/2 tsp of cumin seeds1/2 tsp of white or black sesame seedsSalt as per taste

Method

IMG 0676 Kurkure Recipe Mix urad dal, rice flour, melted butter, salt, asafetida, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and salt.

IMG 0677 950x633 Kurkure Recipe Add enough water to make dough. IMG 0678 950x633 Kurkure Recipe Take a small ball from dough and insert in the chakali maker.Heat the oil. When it is smoking hot, press the mould over the oil lightly until enough batter comes out. IMG 0684 950x633 Kurkure Recipe Fry until golden brown. Remove it, let it become cold and store in an air tight container.
