Eggless Chocolate Banana Mousse Recipe/How to make eggless chocolate mousse
Delicious eggless chocolate mousse made from leftover bananas, chocolate and cream. It’s truly a mouthwatering dessert.
This has been the simplest mousse I have made so far and the easiest also. You need hardly 3 ingredients :). It took me 15 minutes to make it and 30 minutes to set it…what else do you need 😛
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate-I used Ghirardelli chocolate chips
1/2 cup cream
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup mashed banana (approx. 1 1/2 bananas)
Place the chocolate in a pan, add 1 tablespoon of cream and melt it over gentle heat till it resembles a smooth sauce.
In another bowl, whisk the cream and vanilla essence till soft peaks form. Keep aside.
Pour the melted chocolate over the mashed banana and mix well till it is cool.
Slowly fold in the whipped cream, pour into 2 individual glasses and refrigerate till it sets.
Serve garnished grated chocolate and a slice of banana.
Tip: You can add some sugar if you think it’s not sweet enough.
You can use cocoa powder instead of chocolate chips.
