Chocolate peda is an easy 3 ingredient recipe made from mawa, cocoa powder and sugar.
1 cup mawa/khoya
½ cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Cashew nuts for garnishing
In a pan mix mawa and sugar.
Cook it till it starts to leave the sides of the pan and all the moisture gets evaporated.
Add cocoa powder and mix everything well.
Remove it to another plate and let it cool slightly.
While it is cool to touch (not cooled completely, it should be warm), divide it into equal portions and shape it into peda using your palm.
Garnish with cashewnuts
